The Louis L'Amour Cache Traditional Geocache

This cache has been archived.

Iplayoutside: This has become another "statpadder". No one is trading books which was one of the original intents of the cache. A good run of over a year, out of 42 logs only THREE cachers acutally read the directions. It's useful life is up so I'm archiving it.

How Geocaching Works

Geocache Description:

Quick & easy ammo-box Cache in an urban area.

Louis L'Amour is one of America's greatest story tellers. I would like to think that L'Amour does not write westerns per say, but books about being outside and interacting with ones enviorment.

Geocaching is an outside activity that requires many of the same skills that are displayed in all of L'Amour's characters through their adventures.

Becuase of this I have created a Cache that contains 5 works of Louis L'Amour

Milo Talon
The Outlaws of Mesquite
Long Ride Home
Son of a Wanted Man
and my favorite L'Amour novel Jubal Sackett.

If you plan on visiting the Louis L'Amour Cache please trade only novels written by Louis L'Amour. Each book is contained in it's own ziplock bag. To keep moisture to minimum please put your book in the bag of the one you took.

This park is busy especially in the summer time, so try and stay on the down low.
